| The Atlanta BeltLine Eastside 10k is a run/walk showcasing the new Eastside Trail which winds through Inman Park, Midtown, Old Fourth Ward, Poncey Highland, and Virginia Highland. Participants will pass by the new Historic Fourth Ward Park and Skate Park, take in beautiful vistas of downtown and midtown Atlanta, travel an off-road stretch of the Atlanta BeltLine corridor, and enjoy a jaunt through Piedmont Park. |

Who receives the proceeds from the Run/Walk?
The proceeds from the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside 10K and the Atlanta BeltLine Running Series benefit the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership. The Atlanta BeltLine Partnership is a non-profit organization committed to raising funds from private and philanthropic sources to support the Atlanta BeltLine; working with neighborhoods, community organizations, faith organizations, businesses and other groups to raise general awareness and broad-based support for the Atlanta BeltLine; and serving as a catalyst to mobilize resources to address the social concerns raised by new development around the Atlanta BeltLine. Where does the race start and end?
The race will begin and end at Stove Works, located at 112 Krog Street, NE, Atlanta, GA 30307.
Can I pick up my race packet before race day?
Yes. We are anticipating between 1,200 – 1,400 runners, so we are encouraging early packet pick up:

Is it still possible to register for the race?
No. The event has sold out.
I signed up for the race but did not receive an email confirmation. Am I registered?
We do not send out email confirmations, but you can always log into the Atlanta BeltLine Running Series Community and view the races you are registered for in your profile.
Is the course certified?
Yes. The course is certified as a Peachtree Road race qualifier.
What type of terrain will I encounter on the course?
The majority of this course will be run along the newly developed Eastside Trail and it will include a brief off-road section along Piedmont Park, which has a couple spots with heavy gravel.
What are the post-race activities?
Post-Race activities will include: - Free food - Great Raffles - Live Entertainment - Tailgate Challenge and Neighborhood Challenge Awards - Vendor Showcase
Where do I park? How do I get there via MARTA?
A map of parking and MARTA locations is available here. The Inman Park/Reynoldstown MARTA station is less than one mile from the race start.
Can I bring my dog? Can I bring a stroller?
Strollers and dogs are allowed. Participants with dogs and strollers will start the race after the runners and walkers at the end of the pack.
Will there be restrooms on the course?
Restrooms will be provided at the start and finish.
Will there be water stops on the course?
There will be several water stops along the course, details to follow on actual locations of each water stop.
What awards will be given?
Awards will be given to overall female/male. Top female/male in each age category: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, and 60 & over.
Will race photos be available after the race?
Yes.

Tailgate Challenge
Which Atlanta Alumni Association has the most school spirit? Let’s show everyone why Atlanta is the Capital for College football fanatics. We are inviting Atlanta Based Alumni Associations to come out and turn this 10K into a 6 mile tailgate party. Whether you are running, walking, volunteering, or just cheering everyone on – you can help your alumni association win a happy hour at a top Atlanta venue and Atlanta BeltLine bragging rights.
How does my alumni association enter the Tailgate Challenge?
Each alumni association will need a single point of contact. To register your alumni association, please email Kristina Doerr at kristinadoerr@gmail.com. Once you register, we will provide you with more details about how your alumni sign up for the Eastside 10K as part of your team and where to set up your tailgate.
How are the awards determined?
Based on school spirit! If you are running, walking, or volunteering, wear your school colors, paint your face, dress up, or do anything else creatively tasteful to show your school spirit! If you are manning your tailgate section, bring your tent or table and other school items, dress up, and cheer on the runners. The more people you have running, volunteering or cheering, the better.
How many winners will there be?
We will select three winning associations.
When will the teams know who wins?
We will announce the winners at the post-race festivities.
Where will my tailgate tent be setup?
As we near race day we will assign locations. Stay tuned for more details.
Are there discounts?
Yes. If you form a team of 20 members, each person on your team will receive $5 off their entry fee. Contact Kristina Doerr at kristinadoerr@gmail.com and let her know your team name and the number of participants in order to receive a discount code!
Is there a limit to the number of participants for the tailgate challenge?
No.
Do I need to participate in the Tailgate Challenge to run in the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside 10k?
No. As with all Atlanta BeltLine Running Series events, we will have unique awards for the top three overall finishers (male and female) as well as the top three finishers in each age group (male and female).
If I participate in the Tailgate Challenge, can I still compete for individual awards?
Yes. You will still be able to qualify for overall and age-group awards.
Can I participate in both the Tailgate Challenge and the Neighborhood Challenge?
Yes. You can indicate both your alumni association and your neighborhood when you register for the race.
How does mobile voting work for the Tailgate Challenge/Neighborhood Challenge?
Details:
- Voting will open on Friday, Nov 30 at 10am and close on Saturday, Dec 1 at 11:30am.
- Text the keyword TAILGATE or NEIGHBORHOOD and the team NUMBER to 404-494-6617 to vote for them (for example, text “TAILGATE 1” to vote for Auburn or “NEIGHBORHOOD 1” to vote for Old Fourth Ward).
- You can vote as many times as you’d like!
- Winners will be announced at 12:00pm, shortly after the 10k and the team leader must be present.
- What’s at stake?
- $250 cash for the winning neighborhood
- Happy Hour prizes to the top 4 tailgate winners.

Neighborhood Challenge
Which neighborhood can rally the most people to do a 10K? Which neighborhood is the fastest? The most spirited? We’ll find out with the Neighborhood Challenge at the Eastside 10K where your neighborhood can compete for a $1,000 cash purse. It’s a great way to promote your community!
How does my neighborhood association enter the Neighborhood Challenge?

How is the $1,000 cash purse split?
$500 will go towards the largest team $250 will go to the fastest team $250 will go to the most spirited team
How will the fastest team get awarded?
We will average the scores of the top 5 finishers from each team. So if you have 6 members and another team has 20 it doesn’t matter – only the top 5 finishers are counted.
When will the neighborhoods know who wins?
We will announce the winners at the post-race festivities.
